It was declared in 1999, covering an area of 57 km\u00b2. Administratively, it is located in the Zadar and \u0160ibenik-Knin counties, as part of the city of Benkovac and the municipalities of Pako\u0161tane, Stankovci, Pirovac, and Tisno.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Vransko Lake is the largest natural lake in Croatia, essentially a karst field filled with water. The park has recorded about 235 bird species, including 102 nesting species, primarily wetland birds, while others use the lake as a resting place during migration or wintering. According to estimates, between 20,000 and 200,000 birds can be present daily during the autumn migration in the park.<\/p>\n<p>Pirovac \u2192 Vransko Lake Nature Park: distance is about 10-15
